Love Creek - The Source

Description:
After a short car shuffle we head along a pad from the end of Alex Road which leads to a beautiful creek. It drops steeply down to Love Creek with lots of scrambling down rocky waterfalls. (if it looks like rain on the day we will have to give this section a miss & follow a ridge down instead). Once at Love Creek we go downstream for approx 10 minutes to have morning tea at the top of Love Creek Falls, then retrace our steps and follow Love Creek all the way up to Tennyson Woods. It is a very pretty rainforest creek involving several wades/swim throughs and some exposed scrambling up a couple of slippery waterfalls, (proficient scrambling skills will be required, however we will bring a tape for assistance) plus a couple of good swimming holes.

This top part of Love Creek is not often visited and makes a very rewarding circuit.

Then a nice coffee & cake in Mt Glorious on the way home.
